HMS Broadsword (F88) was the lead ship of the Type 22 (Broadsword) class, Batch 1. She was built by Yarrow Shipbuilders in Glasgow, commissioned in 1979, and served as an anti-submarine frigate with strong anti-air and anti-ship secondary capabilities. She was decommissioned in 1995 and sold to the Brazilian Navy, becoming BNS Greenhalgh.
